About Me:

My name is Alejandra and I am an inspiring wig maker.

I have been drawn to wigs for as long as I could remember; loved their versatility and convenience. Wigs gives you the freedom to try new hairstyles and going from casual to glamour in minutes. Although, losing hair does not define who we are, our hair allows us to express ourselves in a positive way. 

Wigs haven't been new to me. I pursued wearing wigs and toppers when I noticed my hair thinning in my mid forties. I am not going to lie but it was difficult in the beginning. Not only did I feel self conscious but felt wearing wigs was accepting my hair loss. 

In 2019, I finally jumped into the opportunity to learn the skill. Trained with several talented wigmakers Casey with That Wig Guy, Waqqas Sheikh with WQ Hair, Gretchen Evans with IMakeWigs LLC, Michael Meyer with Skin Deep FX, Dawn Dudley with Well Dressed Wigs and Katia Baker with House of Postiche. Their expertise and experience are remarkable.

As someone who is part of the hair loss community, I understand the sense of insecurities this journey may bring. I wanted to find a way to embrace my hair loss journey and found it through wearing wigs. 

My goal is to inspire all women/men going through similar circumstances to not feel insecure but feel confident in their skin. Wearing wigs has given me back my confidence and I hope they will do the same for you. The possibilities are endless!
